The Réseau de développement économique et d’employabilité (RDÉE Canada) commissioned TouriScope to develop a business plan for Canada’s French Heritage, Cultural and Tourism Corridor, a project that aimed to develop, showcase and promote French tourism in Canada. The business plan presented a definition of services and customer base and identified a distinctive value proposition leading to the development of an effective sales pitch.

Croisières du St-Laurent

TouriScope, in partnership with GPS tourisme, has been asked by the Association des croisières du St-Laurent (ACSL) to conduct a benchmarking study related to the business environment of the cruise sector. The research and analysis provided the ACSL with relevant information and arguments related to the comparative context studied, which is useful for the international cruise ship sector.


New Brunswick

TouriScope has been working with the New Brunswick Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture in a tourism assessment process for the Saint-Quentin community. The objective was to increase the region’s potential for tourist attraction, focusing mainly on maple syrup production. The process involved the implementation of the community assessment program developed by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA). The Association québécoise des spas

The Association québécoise des spas (AQS) has commissioned TouriScope to conduct an inventory of the spa sector in Quebec, particularly with regard to its positioning in terms of the tourism experience. The approach therefore made it possible to define the positioning of the spa product as a whole, in order to better define the tourist perception associated with the product today. The holding of a participatory ideation workshop with members provided an opportunity to collectively reflect on the next steps in a development process as an industry. This work will then make it possible to develop a positioning strategy to attract more tourists from outside Quebec.

Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation du Québec

In its desire to continue to support the growth of tourism in Gaspésie and to stimulate its innovative character, the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation du Québec (MEI) commissioned TouriScope to organize a conference workshop on the theme: “Innovation in tourism: international trends and local perspectives from Gaspésie”. TouriScope took charge of this activity, which was held in Chandler, Gaspésie, in front of some forty regional tourism entrepreneurs.

TouriScope is working with the City of Dieppe in the implementation of its new tourism strategy to help position the municipality adequately on the local tourist scene, structure its offer, increase its visibility and attract more visitors.

Ministère du Tourisme du Québec – 

TouriScope, in partnership with GPS tourisme, obtained the mandate from the Direction des dossiers majeurs of the Ministère du Tourisme du Québec for a development project concerning the CTMA maritime company in the Îles de la Madeleine. The purpose of the project was to analyze the importance of tourism in the economy of the Îles de la Madeleine and CTMA’s current cruise offer.

TouriScope continually supports Expérience Acadie in achieving its mission to promote Acadian tourism operators. In this context, TouriScope has carried out several mandates, among which:

MRC Les Moulins

In its economic and tourism development mission, the MRC Les Moulins has targeted family tourism as a priority tourism sector in its development strategy, in a socio-demographic context where more and more young families are choosing to live in cities on the outskirts of Montreal. It is in this context that the MRC Les Moulins wanted to mandate TouriScope, in partnership with LJM Conseil, to conduct a study on the development of family tourism. The objective of the approach consists in researching and analyzing concepts, activities and promising elements for families likely to settle in the 4 recreational and tourist centres of Vieux-Terrebonne, Parc de la Rivière, Noyau villageois de Mascouche and Domaine Seigneurial.

Accelerated Market Readiness (AMR) is a business improvement program that offers individual tourism operators the ability to increase their standards of excellence, be more responsive to emerging tourism trends, and ultimately increase revenues.

As part of its business intelligence strategy, the Eastern Townships regional touristic association called upon TouriScope to increase its knowledge of its target customer base. Summary fact sheets based on research data helped to identify the profile and travel behaviors of the main markets and to create product / market / customer matrices.

Monument de la Reconnaissance au 21e siècle

TouriScope completed a marketing plan for the Monument de la Reconnaissance au 21e siècle, a new interpretive center showcasing Acadian heritage at the Notre-Dame-de l’Assomption Cathedral in Moncton. This plan helped define effective marketing strategies to reach targeted clients, integrate all partners, help the interpretive center become one of New Brunswick’s key tourism attractions, and contributed to restoring the cathedral’s original vitality.

SADC du Kamouraska

The Société d’aide au développement de la collectivité du Kamouraska has commissioned TouriScope to create a tourism package toolkit for tourism stakeholders in the Kamouraska RCM. The purpose was to introduce them to the steps they need to take to create and market tourism packages and provide them with practical advice on how to implement this strategy.
