Claude Péloquin

Tourism Development Strategist

I'm a shadow worker: I listen, I like in-depth discussions, I analyze and I take a step back. I prefer silence and concentration to projectors. I plan for the long term. I’m frank and what I promise, I deliver.

I am also intuitive. I adapt according to the situation and its evolution. I like order, but I can think outside the box easily. In the team, I have the enviable role of the big brother, colleagues come to me for advice and since I love to train people more than anything, I gladly share my knowledge.

Hyper creative in the processes, I have developed over the years recognized expertise in research methodologies. I quickly understand the challenges in a project, to put in place realistic and adapted solutions. My job is to make complex situations fluid and easy. To translate the figures into words, to find the relevant data, the one that will answer your problem.

I had a mentor, a former deputy minister of tourism, who trained me for over 15 years. I owe him my fine understanding of the political contexts related to tourism, and my ability to analyze global issues, to understand the business environment specific to each sector of activity. I continue to maintain this vast knowledge that I put to use in my interventions.

I rely on a large network of experts and business partners with whom I have long established strong ties, built on trust and respect. I like to think that these relationships reflect who I am, my integrity, my patience and my sense of compromise.
