Ouranos
Ouranos is a consortium of scientists specializing in adapting to climate change. In recent years, Ouranos has carried out several major studies and research with the tourism industry. They revealed the importance of supporting and equipping managers with decision-making tools to build a more resilient and efficient tourism economy in the medium and long term.
Ouranos drew on TouriScope's expertise to co-create and disseminate communication tools on adapting to climate change. These tools, whose content is mainly derived from tourism industry-specific research and studies carried out in recent years, aim to inform different audiences such as tourism development organizations, managers and municipalities, in order to help them integrate climate change into their future strategic vision.
TouriScope has thus accompanied Ouranos in the popularization of this scientific content and in the search for the best tools to keep them operational and useful for the various tourism players.
These tools have taken the form of:
- Articles such as "Did you know that...?"
- Case studies highlighting forward-thinking managers
- Thematic leaflets (outdoors, urban, winter, etc.)
The development of these different tools aims to facilitate appropriation by managers of the knowledge about climate change that will ultimately contribute to informed decision-making at different levels (strategy, operation, investment) and the emphasis of innovative actions.

Notre partenariat nous a permis de construire ensemble des outils vulgarisés, de différents types, dans un langage d’affaires. Nous recommandons leur expertise.
