The matrix highlights the influence that stakeholders have, but also the influence you have on them. It allows you to visualize the intensity, frequency, and type of commitment that they will require of you. Properly identifying and then categorizing the stakeholders according to their importance to the project or to your organization will allow you to maximize the potential for success of your actions.
